Not as tough as a 3 year old. Apr 12, 2010
By Sharon B. Hale I purchased these along with the navy and light brown Jake shoes (total $148.00). I am extremely disappointed in the quality and workmanship for all of the Jake shoes, but mostly for the white/navy. I've purchased Pedipeds since my son was an infant so I had full faith and confidence that ordering these shoes would be a good move. I also liked them because they were tieless which makes it much easier to get shoes on and off. My three year old wore them and after just the first day had worn the toes off of both shoes. How a three year old can destroy a pair of shoes at daycare on the first day is beyond me. He has worn many other shoes at daycare (Nike, Sperrys, cheap Target and Wal-Mart brands, etc.) and I have never had the problems that I've had with the Pedipeds. The leather (or whatever the material is) is extremely soft and as thin as an onion skin. Also, the white/navy Jake shoe does not have a toe guard as do the navy and light brown. But even if this pair did have a toe guard if they are anything like the navy and light brown the toe guard stitching would have already come out and part of the toe guard torn off.
I don't mind spending money for nice clothes and shoes for my three year old; however, when spending this amount and for them to tear up as easily as they did is aggravating. I certainly will not purchase another pair and will question myself before purchasing another pair of Pedipeds.

My Son's Favorite!! Jan 20, 2012
By MtnLiving I've been buying the Pediped Flex Jake Sneaker for my son for years now (in navy). He LOVES them and would wear them year round if he could (we live in Colorado - so boots need to come out at some point.) His first pair was probably a size 21 and we are now on size 27. They wear great - he outgrows them before they wear out. I noticed that another reviewer had issues with wear - but we never have with all the pairs he's worn. The white rubber darkens after a while but I'd expect that with any sneaker worn by a very active toddler/preschooler. I also bought the "Connor" style last year - just to have a second pair/backup and he loved those as well. But these are definitely his favorite. We've also had the Pediped leather sandals in the summer for a few years - don't recall the style name - but those have been great too. I'll keep buying the Jake sneakers for him as long as I can get his size and he keeps wanting them. Highly recommend Pediped.
Great Kids shoes...great price! Sep 28, 2011
By delindy I have bought these shoes for my son for years, but once he got into bigger sizes the stores stopped caring his size. Amazon had a cheaper price than I usually pay and shipping cost was low too.
Pediped great product Sep 10, 2009
By K. Canby 3rd pair of these same shoes that we've purchased now. Not because theyve worn out, but because his feet grow so fast. They are still in GREAT shape, and he loves them.
