Carrier works well. The fabric is very nice. It doesn't hurt my back. It is a little difficult getting the baby in/out. My baby got used to it after a few times and now he enjoys being in it. He like to face out so this one worked for him better than other carriers.

I purchased this carrier for my daughter when she gave birth to my precious granddaughter. It is perfect for their walks in the parks even as an infant just 5 weeks old. When traveling on the plane with an infant it serves as the best way for my daughter to be hands free while baby sleeps. The back support makes it more comfortable to be active for long periods of time. It was a great purchase and it was the best price by as much as 30 dollars.

I own one of these, and I also purchased one for my sister in law and her husband who just had their 1st baby. The Active offers back support which really makes a BIG difference. If you are in doubt then next time when you visit Babies R Us check out and try on the floor models of the Baby Bjorn carriers. One thing to keep in mind is, if you live in a warm state then you might want to look at the the Synergy carrier which has a mesh material which would make it cooler (for the parent and the child) when using the carrier.

I bought this BabyBjorn as a gift for a friend, since I have used my own for the past 2.5 years and LOVE IT! I had a c-section with both my babies and found it too difficult to carry the stroller and instead opted to use my baby carrier instead. I use it for EVERYTHING! Whether it's keeping the baby quiet while I make supper or do errands to traveling to doctor appointments by bus. It is so light, so comfortable and fits so well, when you take the time to properly adjust the straps. It is the best baby carrier on the market. My baby is already one (weighing 22lbs) and I still use it and we both enjoy it!
