5Love it! Probably too small to last until 4 yrs, but still very worth it.  Jan 10, 2010
I love my 5 month's old Bee - we've used it a ton for the past 2 months and I do not regret paying the money for it. I waited until my child was 3 months before I bought a real stroller. Until then, we used a snap and go for our Graco car seat. In the meantime, I was furiously researching tons of strollers online. There were only a few that met my requirements: under 20 lbs, seat is reversible to face me, folds in one piece, and comfortable for baby. The Bee is one of the few strollers that met those criteria. Baby and I tested it at Neiman Marcus and he snuggled in it and looked so happy, that sealed the deal.

Some pros:
-Pretty lightweight - I definitely am glad I didn't buy the Stokee, Uppababy vista, Orbit, Mutsy, Toro, or any of the other strollers that do the same thing but are ENORMOUS and too heavy for me to lift into the trunk. Or needed to be broken into two pieces
-Fairly compact - takes up less than a third of my highlander trunk
-One-handed steer - very very easy to push and maneuver. I can whizz through tight quarters in Starbucks and between clothing racks with no problem and the stroller feels very light even when loaded down. I enjoy steering around obstacles while other parents with the enormous strollers get stuck or have to take alternate routes (or wait outside a store because it's not worth the trouble).
-Ride is very smooth - shocks on all 4 wheels. It does go over grass and gravel, though not easily as I imagine the bugaboo chameleon would.
-Huge canopy - I live in Seattle and it's big enough to shelter him from drizzle so I don't have to use the rain canopy.
-With the baby cocoon (looks like a puffy sleeping bag), it must be really cushy as my baby falls asleep right away and is nice and warm.
-Handle is comfy
-Could be used for newborns as it reclines flat. Reclining flat is also great for baby to sleep - with the cocoon, it's like a rolling bed. :) Reclining flat does make the stroller bigger, but it's still maneuverable.

Cons:
-Basket is fairly small. I can fit a medium-sized diaper bag and my purse in there, but it's hard to get to if the seat is reclined all the way.
-Cupholder you have to purchase separate. I installed mine facing INWARDS near the bottom of the handle and this is definitely the way to go as you can fold the stroller easily without removing it.
- My baby's big - 95% height and weight.. so I imagine he won't be able to use it until he's 4. I would be completely happy even if he could only use it until 18 months. The joy of seeing his face and expressions while we walk around is priceless.

We did have a small issue where the stroller frame broke (one of the rivets snapped) and had to send it back to Bugaboo, but the customer service was awesome. They sent us a replacement frame right away (so we didn't have to wait) and we used that box to send the broken one back.

5In Love w/my BEE!  May 13, 2009
I'm completely in LOVE with my Bugaboo Bee, or would it be my baby's Bee?? :) The stroller has a perfect size (not too big, neither too small), pretty light weight, is really comfortable (I can tell the baby likes it by the good naps he takes while he is in it) and super charming and stylish!

2breaks don't work / poor quality rain cover  Apr 10, 2009
I bought this stroller and was convinced that bugaboo was a quality product but I have been very disappointed with several features of the bugaboo bee. The raincover is so poorly constructed that it ripped after being used only twice and the breaks have malfunctioned several times.
Also, if you walk in a fast pace the front wheels start to "flutter" and your baby is being shaken by it and of course it is hard to steer that way. I have written to bugaboo USA about this problem 3 times now and I am still waiting for a reply. I would not buy this product again!!!!!

5The best stroller for the money  Jun 16, 2008
My child is 9 months old. We bought a Maclaren Triumph (inexpensive, lightweight, one hand collapse) for him but the heat of the southwest did it in very quickly. It was in back of my car and the heat melted and warped the sun shade hoops. So, we bought the Bee. It's pricey but so worth it. My son hates being strapped in to anything, car seat, stroller, you name it...but we turned it around so that the seat faced me and rolled him around for a bit in the house first and he just loved it. Outdoors, he did well too. He sat up and enjoyed the ride while watching us. It's really well made and the sun canopy is great. It actually shades most of his body instead of just a portion of his head. If you have the seat facing you and you're going for a morning or late afternoon stroll, your body will shade him going in one direction and the sun canopy shades him when you walk back. Things to note: I would try this stroller out with your child before buying. It's narrower then most seats and not quite as tall..that's part of the reason why it shades so much of your child. Also, it's not that easy to turn the seat around and it doesn't collapse well if the seat is facing you.
