ok but not for lunch boxes Sep 10, 2009
By Stacy Cobb I bought this to match the lunchbox, but found that it would leak so I guess I'll just use it for sports or in the car. Not good for packing.

Great water bottle Sep 21, 2009
By Julie This is a great bottle. It keeps water cold for about 2 hours in the summer heat and my son LOVES it. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's not dishwasher safe. Otherwise, it's great.

Super kids water bottle Oct 15, 2009
By Prime MiMom This is just perfect for our son. He LOVES trucks and equipment. It's easy for him to open and has a cool 'cap' that covers the mouthpiece and helps keep it clean. Yesterday when he came home from school he had forgotten to push down the mouth piece and just put the cap on, put it back in his lunch sack. It didn't leak!!

The Peeling Dinosaur Feb 25, 2010
By Babs Brooklyn My kids love these bottles. Why? Because of the vibrant color designs and interesting themes (dinosaurs, planets; jungle animals, trucks, etc.)
As a mom, I love them for the same reason, but also because the core of the bottle is made of stainless steel, a much more durable and safer alternative to plastic. They also keep cold beverages insulated better than plastic. They are also just the right size to fit into a convetional lunchbox.
BUT, I have complaints.
1) The exterior design, made of some type of laminate, peels off the bottle after just a short amount of routine wear and hand washing. I have the bottles for just about a month now, and they are all peeling in the same spot: bottom seam.
2) Not dishwasher safe. Need I say more.
3) The drinking spout is loose and if not shut all the way, it will leak. So I place the bottles in a ziploc freezer bag before packing them in a lunchbox.
4) The metal will react to certain acidic drinks... like apple juice. After about 6 hours in the bottle, the juice had a vinegary taste.
For ten bucks, this should be a better product. But looks alone, it would win a beauty contest.

Great water bottle, my 2-year-old loves it! Apr 27, 2010
By Jane
"Jane"
After buying adult-size water bottles for my daughter & myself, my 2-year-old constantly wanted ours instead of his sippy cup, so I gave this a try. He LOVES the vehicle pictures! And he loves having his own "big-kid" water bottle like Mama & big sis! The bottle works fine & is not a problem to clean w/ a bottle brush. It is not spill-proof, so it's quite a change from the sippy cup, but that's just part of the growing up process. I've tried his water a few times (we've only put water in it) and it does not seem to leave a metalic taste, as some do. We took the cap off, as it was difficult for him to use & just seem to get in the way, but that's no big deal when we mostly use it at home. When I want it closed, I just make sure the spout is closed all the way. I do like it a lot & am thinking about buy a few more for gifts.
