A lifesaver! Oct 04, 2009

I would recommend the Ergo to anyone! Our son is an enemy of sleep, so often the Ergo is the ONLY way we can get him to take a nap. It also makes family hikes, grocery shopping, and church possible. It is so easy to wash- just wash and dry, no fuss!- and can go through airport security without the hassle of having to remove him. Seriously, this is money well spent. I had a baby bjorn that I HATED- he hung from my chest like a strange tumor and all of his weight was on my upper back, which was very painful. I have hiked for miles with the baby in the Ergo with no discomfort. I hope you love yours too!

The baby/toddler product I can't live without! Oct 03, 2009
By nina I am so in love with my ergo!
It is the most comfortable carrier, and I've tried so many: bjorn, moby, slings, etc. We did not get this until my baby was 4 mo.old, which is old enough to sit in it w/o the infant support, so I don't know how that works. But I love it at 4 months and so does baby. She sleeps wonderfully in it! It is my single most favorite product out of everything we have for baby.

Best carrier I tried Sep 17, 2009
By friendly_toast I received this carrier as a shower gift and have loved using it. Once she could sit up, my daughter hated being carried in the front, so the side position was a life-saver (otherwise I'd never have gotten any grocery shopping done when she was little!) Now she is happy in all three (front, side, back) I switch up the position based on what I'm doing. She's not the best napper, and doesn't really have a nap schedule, so if she's sleepy and we're out and about, she'll fall asleep in this carrier. It's really comfortable, easily adjustable (my husband and I can both use it), and easy to put on and get your baby or toddler into and out of. This company also has fantastic customer service. The waist buckle had cracked, after I'd had the carrier for a year, and I emailed the company to see if they sold replacement buckles. They immediately mailed me a new one for free! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a really adjustable, comfortable, and easy-to-use baby carrier, without all the extra fabric that some wraps/slings have.
Super comfy, super portable, super easy to use! Dec 18, 2010

There are many options in baby carriers. While this one is not intended for newborns (get a wrap instead), it is a super carrier for any little one that can hold their head up on their own. My daughter is now over 2 yrs and I still use it on hikes. It's light weight so I just wear it around my waist, letting it hang, until the little one's feet get too tired and she needs up. Funny enough, she's gotten too heavy to carry in my arms over long distance, but with the Ergo I can go anywhere. It also folds up into a small carry pouch when traveling. It's very durable with great safety straps that go over the buckles, just in case they aren't closed properly. I hope to get many more miles out of our Ergo.
Good but airport snafu Nov 17, 2010
By K. Weng We got it with high hopes and expectations.
So far it works well in terms of design, but our 6 month old 18lb baby doesn't seem to immediately like it better than the Bjorn.
However, SFO airport security would not let my wife through wearing the baby in it, so don't depend on that benefit.
