 Very cute, but kids had trouble peeling off the stickers Jan 06, 2009

I bought two of these for the girls I babysit (ages 6 and 3.5) for Christmas. They were both immediately charmed by the flowers and hanging ribbon, but had a very difficult time peeling the stickers off their paper backing, as whatever machine was used to cut the sticker outlines alternately went all the way through the paper backing or didn't cut out the stickers completely. I ended up helping them, and even I found it frustrating. I was glad there were a lot of spare letters, because we inadvertently ripped quite a few trying to spell their (short) names. The sign itself is very attractive, well constructed, and large, but the stickers could use some work.

This name plaque looks great on my daughter's door. Good quality and the flowers are nice and bright. We also added some wall appliques and now her room is complete.

THis turned out to be so cute! It even came with letters to fill in the name. I thought I would have to do this myself with paint... Love it!

I ordered this because my daughter has one and I wanted another one for the baby. I was excited because it was pink and white, the colors of the nursery. Unfortunately when it arrived it was a green background and multi-colored flowers. I am very disappointed that it wasnt the door plate advertised here.

My parents bought this a few Christmas' ago for my daughter - now 15, she was 12 at the time. She still has this on the door to her room.
She did have a small bit of trouble getting the stickers off, but once she did it a few times it was not as much of a problem. It's nice to have the more generic designs - which can go with Princess, Fairies, etc. as the girls age (my younger daughter has a similar one).
