I just recieved this a bit ago, it was supposed to be for Christmas but I gave it to my Daughter early. To see if she even liked it. The pictures looks like just what she was looking for and the correct size as well. But the description of "Plush" - is NOT the real description. It is overstuffed - hard as a rock with cheap stuffing, the hair is so short - NOTHING like a real Pomeranian and far from "Plush". I understand now why they only show a side veiw of the dog. The frontal looks horrible. Nothing - NOTHING like the picture. The mouth is drawn on with a black marker that apparently was running out of ink. Placed crooked. Looks like a dirty face. They eyes are no black - they have white felt around the outside. looks like it was cut with a knife.
The mane on the dog - well....there ISN'T one at all!!! Zippo - no mane. Again, nothing like a Pom. It is more like a short haired lab. The hair almost feels like felt material around the head. That is how short it is. I thought it was just mashed down from the shipping, so i tried to fluff it with my fingernails and any hair that WAS there came off.
So the side view in the picture was necessary to reveal the lack of quality and "plushness" from buyers veiw.
I would return it, but my daughter wanted to keep it anyways. The sweetheart. She falls in love with any stuffed animal - she feels as if she is abandoning it - if we returned it. So we will keep it. I will continue to look for a different one - in hopes it arrives before Christmas.
Oh - one more thing about the hair. It is so short - the length on the bottom is nothing - the legs of the dog look more like that of a reindeer. Very long- too long for a Pom. Kind of looks like a reindeer turned into a Pom. hahaha
I only gave it a 5 star on the fun part of the product because my daughter loves any animal and does love it and is playing with it nice enough. So I give it that much, for being so homely looking, she feels sorry for it.
Just overall disappointed and wish I could return it. I am VERY disappointed. I personally think its a rip off - BIG TIME!!!!!!! If it weren't for my daughters loving heart - I would return it with a BIGGER complaint than here!!! Because NOW i MAY NOT find one in time for Christmas.
Ok-hope this helped. I would never recommend this to anyone. Terrible. They should be ashamed to sell it.

I purchased this little pomeranian for my adult daughter. Her much loved pomeranian died 3 years ago. This Melissa & Doug pomeranian looks just like my daughter's loved pet. My daughter received her Melissa & Doug pomeranian yesterday, as a surprise, and she loves it! The fur was compacted due to packaging but it brushed out easily. She has it sitting next to her bed.

I was very disappointed to see the toy shipped to me. It looks nothing at all like the toy plush Pomeranian in the picture on the product page. The one I received has a crooked snout. The fur is too short and sparse, even after trying to fluff it out. The main attractive trait of a Pomeranian is the fluffy coat and mane, but this toy lacks it. I will be returning this product for a refund.
