My sixteen month old daughter owns several pails and this one is her favorite. The size is right, not so big, not so small. She also likes to point at the eyes, nose and mouth on the pail to practice talking. It's a good buy for me

My 3 year old who loves octopi loves this bucket. And even with two older brothers helping him play with it, it shows no sign of breaking like all the other buckets we've had. Super thick plastic, a nice bright color, and a nifty sifter that detaches make this one of my children's favorite toys.

I bought this for a friend's art show - she was doing her senior exhibit on deepsea creatures. She had requested a sand cake, so I needed a pail. This made the most sense, and everyone loved it. It is much larger than I had expected, and the plastic it is made from is thick and durable. The handle is also much stronger than the pails I remember as a child. I filled it 2/3 up with sand cake and topped it with a chocolate sand castle and the handle didn't feel flimsy at all. The sifter snaps on to the bottom. Younger children might have difficulty removing it easily, it is a snug fit.
I would completely recommend this as a toy or for a sand cake. The only thing I wish it had was a shovel.

I love this toy! It's thick, durable and bigger than I expected. My 14 month old son loves to carry it around the yard and fill it with pinecones and rocks. It's fun at the sand and water table too, and the sifter is just what we needed to filter swept sand.

This pail is just the right size for putting pool balls in and taking them out, and my grandson seems to like it.
