Cute tote, but too small for getting baby's items to the pool it can't even fit a standard beach towel. The manufacturer description states "generously sized". I would disagree. Check the dimensions and don't expect to carry a lot in this bag. Also, the handles are short and not long enough to hold if the bag is stuffed full (which doesn't take much).
It is very cute, but it is definitely a case of form over function.

Strong bag, but a tad too small to use the Melissa and Doug sand toys in. Would be nice to see them make a slightly larger one for the adults to carry. This one will have to be used for the kids to hold only a few items. Good product just too small for my needs.

this bag was much smaller than i thoguth. it woudl make an OK beach bag for small kids to use but dont plan on putting anything substantial in it. it is very durable and strong - just too small for real use.

Adorable and well-made. My 4 year old packed her Melissa and Doug sand toys in here and toted them to the beach. The bottom of the bag is a strong mesh material which lets water and sand drain out. This is a good feature since vinyl bags tend to mildew over time. This is another great product from M & D.

Quite small and a great little bag for youngsters to carry their swim gear and perhaps a few small toys. The handles are child sized. Vents at the bottom are good for sifting sand but also means not entirely waterproof. Seems very nicely made and the two outside pockets are handy for sun screen and other small items. I am very happy with the product.
