This is the first Melissa & Doug product that I have ever been disappointed with but I wouldn't recommend this product. My son received both the construction & rescue vehicle set for Christmas. He honestly hasn't played with it all that much and the wheels keep falling off. I'm tired of trying to put them together all the time. I expected more durability from a wooden set of cars.

I am a huge fan of Melissa and Doug toys anyway...never disappointed. My 6 year old loves these. We just added to his collection.

I ordered this set for my son to go with a play rug that has pictures of streets, houses etc. because I've always been happy with Melissa & Doug products. I had no idea that these are compatible with a set of train tracks we already own, so that was a nice surprise. Overall they are sturdy wood, though the wheels are of a necessity smaller (so that they fit the track) and this makes them a tiny bit weaker than the body. We took them camping for 9 days with my not quite three-year-old and they held up great, only coming home with a tiny bit of wobble in one of the wheels.

Our 2 year old son loves these. They are a nice quality and seem sturdy. My son has played with these for about 2 months almost every day and they are still like brand new.

Great purchase. These trucks are SO much fun. My little guys just loves them. I've bought 3 different sets & he loves them all. Durabe, brightly colored & very cute.
