 Beware of sizing issues! Amazon unclear on sizing!! Sep 26, 2006

We have purchased pedipeds before and loved them. When my daughter outgrew the 6-12 size we could not find this style in our size in a store. I made the mistake of ordering the next size up from Amazon! The 12-18 month size is a huge jump from the 6-12 month size. The information page does not even give the correct pediped sizing options. It lists the sizes as small, medium, large and XL without telling you what those are affliated with (6-12, 12-18, etc) When you click on the the merchant sizing link, it is completely unrelated to this particular product.
Ireally wanted these shoes so I took the chance and ordered the Medium. Now I am out the return shipping costs since these are HUGE. If amazon had been more clear in the sizing, I would have ordered the correct shoes. Pedipeds are great shoes, Amazon is the problem here.

These are adorable shoes, no question, but they provide precious little support for tiny feet trying to walk. It may be that my daughter's foot is narrow, so they don;t grip her well, but they seem to slide around her foot as she tries to walk in them. The bottom of the show is also quite slippy, with no traction whatsoever, so she also has a harder time in these when she walks on our hardwood floors. They were great when she crawled more, but now that she's walking I have bought new shoes that fit more snugly and have better traction.

These shoes are very comfortable, Light, and stylish. My baby girl is only 5 months and doesn't mind having them on. The only problem is the upper white leather part of the shoe gets stained from the black bottom when they rub together...I couldn't get the stains off, and they also run a little big. They are still very cute shoes to have and match almost every outfit she owns. I plan on ordering her more Pediped shoes!!!!

I bought these for my niece who just started walking and she wears them every day. Now they are going to buy her some other colors! She had tried putting keds on her, but they were way too clunky and heavy and she was tripping all the time, but these are literally like walking bare foot for them and very supportive! A must have for a new walker!

I bought these for my daughter around the time she was learning to walk (about 1 year) and we LOVED them. They are extremely comfortable for babies learning to walk and perfect to wear around the house or at daycare, etc. She even wore them outside in the grass or sidewalk, though I would not recommend them in the snow, rain or on gravel or dirt. These are by far my favorite shoes for babies- a thousand times better than the hard soled shoes. We definitely got our money's worth on these!
