I bought these in a size 0-6 months for my newborn. I had no intention of having him attempt to walk in these like other reviewers so I cannot comment their utility for walking. I just wanted a cute pair of shoes for my baby to wear out or to church. These fit the bill. My son basically has a mini version of daddy's shoes. We get so many complements on his "big boy" shoes. Plus, they feel like soft leather so are very comfortable for him. He's been wearing from about 2 months and he is just about ready to grow out of them at 6 months. So they are pretty true to size. Now that he has almost outgrowm them I think I am going to get him the next size up. Recommend for an infant!

these were the first pair of shoes i bought for my son when he was 11 months old and ready to walk outside. the design and material quality is excellent, they are almost moccasin like which i guess is the intention as they are like a second skin. my son has other shoes but he walks much better in these as no additional material at the front that can sometimes cause a toddler to trip. they drew lots of comments from people as they really do look smart.

These shoes are sooo cute. They have the 'little man' look to them. My only issue with them is that they are a bit slick on the carpet and my son has trouble 'walking' in them. So we use them to keep his toes warm and cute when we go out, but take them off when he is on the floor.

Like the Robeez, pediped shoes are lightweight and breathable, but with the advantage of being easy to put on and take off, and has a slightly padded sole for comfort.
I can see how the pediped soles can be a bit slippery, but we tried the See Kai Run (SKR) Smaller which has rubber patches on the soles, but instead, the surrounding leather sole ripped on day 3 of wear. The SKR's were more padded all around, so they made the little feet too hot and sweaty, plus it was hard to feel his toes from the outside to see how far his toes were touching etc. Beginner walkers grasp with their toes, but the rubber traction patches on competitor's soles prevent that. Sure, my oldest took a few falls running in the pedipeds when he was 20 mo old, but would he have not fallen wearing other shoes? My guess is that he would have fallen anyway. My youngest, who is actually a lot more active, has had no issues slipping yet and he has been wearing pedipeds from 12mo to now at 19-mo, on carpet, tile, hardwood floors, and outdoors. And remember that the AAP recommends non-rubber soft soles until age 2 when walking outdoors. These pedipeds fit the bill. PLUS they have extremely classic and attractive looks.
This particular model is my all time favorite. So dressy and again so easy to put on that my little toddler tries to put it on himself.
